And Happy Birthday to Comic Book Artist Illustrator J. Scott Campbell, That's today too!

And while I'm at it, let me say Happy Birthday to Comic Book Artist/ Illustrator J. Scott Campbell, one of the nicest guys in comics, that's today too!

You probably know that Jeff Scott Campbell "began began his career contributing to Nintendo Magazine in the late 1980s. He broke into the world of comic book art after moving to San Diego in 1993. His first professional work was for Jim Lee's Wildstorm, where he was the original artist and co-creator of successful titles like 'Gen 13' and 'Danger Girl'. The latter was also turned into a videogame. In 1998, he co-founded the Cliffhanger imprint as part of Wildstorm Productions. In 2005, he co-created the limited series 'Wildsiderz' with 'Danger Girl' scriptwriter Andy Hartnell. Campbell has also done beautiful cover illustrations for Marvel and DC".-Lambiek

This is a portrait that we made of Jeff in his San Diego studio for "The Artist Within" Book 1".
